MET Stars 5.0 Programme Guide
Welcome to MET Stars 5.0, a talent development programme by BJUMP designed to identify, develop and connect the next generation of talent across Marketing, Entertainment and Technology.
For five years, BJUMP has created opportunities for young people to learn, connect with industry and gain access to experiences that can shape their careers.
MET Stars takes that further.
It is a hands-on experience built around learning, collaboration, real-world challenges, industry exposure and the opportunity to put your skills to work.
This is not just a programme to attend. It is an experience to participate in.
MET Stars is a cohort-based talent development programme for emerging professionals with the curiosity, ambition and potential to build meaningful careers in Marketing, Entertainment, Technology and related fields.
Across the programme, MET Stars will learn from experienced professionals, work on real challenges, collaborate with other emerging talents and gain exposure to how the industry works.
The experience is built around six things:
Gain practical knowledge from experienced professionals and industry leaders.
Apply what you learn to briefs, projects and business challenges.
Build relationships with mentors, industry professionals and other MET Stars.
Bring your ideas, skills and perspectives to the table.
Defend your thinking, communicate your ideas and receive feedback.
Leave the programme with stronger skills, clearer direction and a wider professional network.
The core MET Stars experience runs for 10 weeks.
During this period, participants will take part in learning sessions, mentorship, team activities, brand challenges, projects and other programme activities designed to develop both professional and practical skills.
Expect to learn, work, collaborate and to be challenged.
The MET Stars experience does not simply end when the 10 weeks are over.
Successful participants may progress into opportunities for paid industry experience, including a paid internship, as well as continued engagement with the MET Stars community.
Internship opportunities are subject to successful completion of the programme, placement requirements and available opportunities. Participation in MET Stars does not automatically guarantee an internship placement.
Learn from professionals who have built careers across Marketing, Entertainment, Technology and related industries.
Work on practical briefs and challenges that require you to research, think, create and present.
Gain access to experienced professionals who can provide guidance, feedback and industry perspective.
Work with people from different backgrounds, disciplines and skill sets.
Get closer to the people, businesses and environments shaping the industries you want to enter.
Learn to communicate your ideas, defend your thinking and respond to questions and feedback.
Become part of a growing network of MET Stars and alumni who continue to learn, connect and create opportunities together.
MET Stars is for people who are ready to do more than talk about their potential.
